天生我才必有用，頑皮的橘子實在不需羨慕他人，更無須掩飾偽裝自己。柳丁、橘子、柚子究竟何者的滋味最誘人呢？有人愛柳丁的溫和，有人愛橘子的酸甜，更有人熱愛柚子的獨特氣息。柳丁不亞於橘子，橘子更不一定勝過柚子，實際上，三者各有其優點，也有其不如他人之處。所以頑皮的橘子實在不需要在柳丁堆裡裝老大，更無需在柚子堆裡裝可愛。

身為萬物之靈的人類，更該真誠實在的面對自我。一個人無論高矮胖瘦、無論男女、無論膚色，每個人或多或少都有不如人之處；但是相反地，也絕對有勝過他人的優點。高個子或許在攀爬或在拿取高處物品時方便有利些，不過遇上需要蹲下甚至爬行鑽洞的狀況時，其身手就絕對不如矮個子流利。籃球場上，高個子適合搶籃板，矮個子適合控球，兩者皆缺一不可。無需心羨他人的優點，更無需刻意模仿他人，只需認真面對自我，將自我優點以及真實的自己展現出來，便能博得熱烈的掌聲與認同。所以裝模作樣模仿他人，實在遠不如真正地展現自我。唯有忠於自己、做自己，才是最真實最重要的。

★The Moral of LITTLE POMELO, BIG ORANGE:

Everyone is born with his or her own, unique talent. A naughty tangerine and does not envy others. There is no need for her to camouflage or cover herself. After all, aren’t the tastes of an orange, tangerine, and pomelo what attract people? Some people love the mildness of an orange, while others love the sweet and sour taste of a tangerine, and still others love the unique aroma of the pomelo. Oranges are no worse than tangerines, nor do tangerines exceed pomelos. In fact, the three all have their advantages, and need not assume the place of another. Therefore, the naughty tangerine does not need to pretend to be the oldest amongst a pile of oranges, or pretend to be the cutest in a pile of pomelos.

As intelligent people, we must face the truth in ourselves. It doesn’t matter whether one is tall, short, fat or thin, whether one is male or female, or what color one’s skin is, everyone more or less is the same. On the other hand, however, there are definite advantages for some people. Tall people or those who can climb or those who can reach items located up high do at times have their advantages. Nevertheless, when they encounter a situation in which they must squat down or crawl through a hole, this is a skill that is better suited for those who are shorter. On the basketball court, tall players are better at rebounding and shorter players are better at ball control. Both are indispensable during a game. We don’t have to envy others, nor should we painstakingly copy others. We only must seriously face ourselves, and all the advantages and the real you will appear and this will win you applause and recognition. Therefore, imitating others in this way is in fact further away from the truth and revealing your true self. Most important is to be true to yourself and do things yourself.
