有時候孩子對學習排斥，父母們除了要思考是否太過溺愛、縱容孩子；在應當管教並設立界線時，繼續供應孩子，也要適時的放手，鼓勵並幫助孩子學習，讓孩子透過學習，擔起自己該負的責任。許多父母常抱怨孩子不幫忙家事、不會管理自己的時間等，其實孩子們大都像故事中的小熊一樣，不是「不會做」，而是「不願意做」。父母千萬要過於愛護而不願意放手，應在孩子的學習歷程中適時的由「供應者」轉變為「協助者」。

★The Moral of LITTLE BEAR CHEF:

From time to time, children reject learning, and parents must consider whether children are too spoiled or they have been forced into it. When demarcation lines are set up for learning, continue to provide for the children, but also know when it is time to let go. Encourage and help children in their studies, let them pass through them, and they will take up the responsibility. Many parents complain that their children do not help with the housework, do not pay attention to the time, and so forth. In fact, children are a lot like Little Bear in the story: it’s not that they “can’t” do something, they are just “unwilling.” Parents who excessively dote on their children or who are unwilling to let go should turn from a “provider” to a “facilitator” in their children’s learning process.

Finally an important reminder for parents: children do not have to be just like Little Bear in the story and become a “great chef” (someone famous). This is not the most important. What is important is whether children are willing, in each phase of their lives, to learn the skills that they ought to, focus on their responsibilities and live their own lives. That is what’s most important!
