七年級新生代畫家，畢業於樹德科技大學視覺傳達設計系。

在創作小驢子時，嘗試使用不同於其他繪本的構圖方式。畫面是用簡單的幾何架構，搭配繁複的色彩與裝飾性的圖畫，就由後者的含意深廣，所以以這種構圖配置來襯托出故事的精神。期望透過兒童豐富的想像力，在圖畫當中遊戲。

★愛的導讀

在農場的動物中，跑得最快的就屬喜歡迎風奔馳的馬兒，力氣最大的是每日拉車的大牛，起得最早是清晨啼叫的大公雞。不過，想必還是有些動物，正如我們身邊不起眼的小人物一般，很難一下子想到他們在工作領域中的才能及定位。

不起眼、不受注意，並不表示沒有用處或不重要，更不能因此而小看自己。如同故事中的小驢子，雖然沒有像驢子爸爸一樣強壯，也沒有像驢子媽媽一般能幹，而受到主人的重用，但他那自然流露出的抖擻精神，卻受到了尊貴國王的青睞。

「不輕看自己」的小驢子，自然流露出生命最美、最自然的特質，而吸引了國王的目光；反觀我們，若因為不被重視而落入自暴自棄、怨天尤人的情緒中，總是自怨自艾，這樣一來，個人的特質與才幹都將被自己營造的愁雲慘霧所掩蓋。在鼓勵中長大的孩子更有自信，那樣的自信並不是來自十項全能、才藝兼具得到認同所產生；而是因為了解自己的特質，接納自己、相信自己，才有機會展現自己天生的特長。

國王的獨特眼光，看到的不只是小驢子的外表，而是觀察到他真正的本質。然而，國王的眼光是不是也可以成為我們的眼光？不以外在的表現、突顯的能力來評價他人，看重的乃是他人潛在擁有的本質與特質，並給予激賞與鼓勵呢？或是我們可以像小驢子一樣，自信踏實的經營生命的每一刻？如此一來，國王與小驢子將不只是傳奇，而是在我們生活中真實地演出。

★The Moral of LITTLE DONKEY:

There are many people of little significance around us. They are inconspicuous and we don’t pay any attention to them. However, this does not mean that they are useless or unimportant, nor should they therefore underestimate themselves.

In encouraging confidence in children when they are growing up, the confidence does not come from a decathlon, but from recognizing their individual talents. Also, it comes from understanding their unique personal characteristics, as well as accepting and believing in themselves, only then will they have the opportunity to display their natural talents. The king had the unique vision not to look at the donkey’s appearance but rather observing his true nature. So, why can’t the king’s vision become our own?

Or, can we be like Little Donkey and have confidence in who we are every minute of our lives? Thus, the king and the little donkey won’t just be the stuff of legend, but instead a true performance in our own lives.
